Can oxygen therapy be used in cancer treatment?

I read somewhere about oxygen therapy and its benefits. I was surprised because I didn’t know that oxygen therapy can successfully treat cancer. My friend has cancer and I want to tell him about this therapy but I’m not sure is it a truth. Can oxygen therapy be used in cancer treatment?

Oxygen therapy can be helpful to delayed radiation injury that developed after cancer therapy, but there is no scientific proof that this therapy is useful in treating cancer. But you will probably hear from many people that oxygen therapy can treat multiple sclerosis, cancer, AIDS or stroke. But remember, there is no scientific proof to support these claims.
