Can pseudoephedrine help with weight loss?

I have had a complicated infection caused by a virus. It was followed with high temperature and I have noticed while under pseudoephedrine therapy, that I have lost appetite and I ate a lot less then usually. Since I am already having problems with extra weight, I would like to know if pseudoephedrine can help with weight loss.

Pseudoephedrine is a drug that has a lot of side effects and numerous interactions with other drugs. I think that you should use it only for the infection purpose. Do not take it afterwards for dealing with your weight problem. You could end up with much more serious issues. Do not play with medications, please.
