Can some medications cause conductive hearing loss?

Hello! I have a question for you. Namely, I want to know if some medications can cause conductive hearing loss. Namely, I am taking for few weeks I am taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and I got conductive hearing loss. I do not know why, but I think that these two facts are in some correlation…

Hello! Believe it or not, but you are right. You will need to consult your doctor, but you should not be worried because this kind of conductive hearing loss is reversible. This means when you stop with taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs your hearing will be back. Other medications which can cause conductive hearing loss are diuretics, macrolide antibiotics, aspirin, aminoglycosides, etc.
