I have an itchy lump in left labia. I had one in right side last month and it disappeared after a few days. Maybe my history below will help identify the root of the problem. I appreciate any help. Thank you!
HISTORY:
• Sometime Late March or early April: saw lesions in inner labia. Itchy. Burning sensation when urinating. Applied hydrocortisone. Disappeared after few days.
First Doctor:
• April 6: PAP test. Result: Abnormal- high grade lesions
• May 16: Colposcopy/biopsy done.
Results: NO dysplasia. Shows atypical squamous metaplastic cells. Definitive HGSIL not identified. Doctor wants to do a LEEP anyway. Went to second doctor for second opinion.
Second Doctor:
• June 14: 2nd PAP. Result: NORMAL. Negative for Intraepithelial lesion and malignancy. Doctor also said that I have cervicitis (found discharge). Gave medication for yeast infection.
• June 14 (same day): STD Tests. Results: Negative for HSV2, Chlamydia, Syphilis, HIV, HCV. Positive for HPV high-risk.
• July 3: Another Colposcopy/Biopsy upon doctor’s advice due to HPV.
Result: Mild dysplasia. Administered antibiotic inside vagina after the biopsy.
• July 5: Check up due to skin-like material found in vagina. Doctor said it was membrane. Also noticed 2 small lumps/bumps in right outer labia (size of pimple). Also itchy. Disappeared after couple of days.
• July 12: Cryosurgery. Prescribed oral antibiotic for 10 days. Doctor also prescribed vaginal medicine for yeast infection for 3 days because she said that I might have yeast after the antibiotic intake.
• July 31: Check-up. Doctor said cervix is healing fine.
• August 6: Experienced symptoms of UTI—frequency and urgency of urinating. Did not see doctor. Drank lots of water. Disappeared after one day.
• August 12: Noticed lump in outer labia immediately following menstrual period. Left labia this time. Left side labia swollen. Tender, sometimes itchy. |
