Can someone describe sound therapy?

Hello! My little girl has some problems with hearing and my friend suggested me to try treatment with sound therapy. I am considering now this, but before I decide, can someone describe me sound therapy. Also, I want to know if this method is reliable or not. This is very important for me… Thank you!

Hello! As I understood my neighbor who is using sound therapy, from some specially made analogue tapes and CDs she listening classic music which is full of high and low tones. These tones stimulate muscle in the inner ear and using this muscle; they stimulate brain and on mentioned way improves hearing, speech, concentration, etc

Can someone describe sound therapy?
