Can't get pregnant

Hi I am eileen and I am 25 years old me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for about 13 months now with no success. I have a 6 year old daughter and have never been pregnant since. I had her by c-section. Is this normal? and what can help us get pregnant. Any suggestions would be great.
