I have a personal history of heart disease. I’m 33 now I don’t feel any symptoms of any heart disease. But I’m worried. I would like to do something to protect from them. Yesterday I heard that vitamin B is good for that kind of prevention. Can vitamin B protect from heart disease?
Yes, it can. I read somewhere that if you're at risk for heart disease, you may benefit from B-vitamin supplementation. Folic acid and other B vitamins reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke. I know for sure that B vitamins are used as medications in the treatment of atherosclerosis.
