Can vitamins for arthritis cause liver damage?

Hello! My mother suffers from arthritis. Her joints are often swollen and painful. She takes regularly her anti-inflammatory drugs but her doctor told her to pay more attention to her nutrition. He also advised increased vitamins intake. But, my mother often feels stomach pain after she takes her vitamins. Can vitamins for arthritis cause liver damage?

Hello! Vitamins intake is very useful and it is proven that vitamins as B3, B5, B6, decreases swelling and inflammation and well as vitamins C and E. They all work anti-inflammatory, relieving pain and protects joints from free radicals while increases joint flexibility. Of course if taken more then recommended they can be very harmful for your health. For example, excess intake of vitamin A, taken for years, can damage the liver.
