I had sex last friday and bled the next day. But it wasn't heavy and it actually stopped until sunday. Now it's super heavy. I am trying to get pregnant and I really don't want to get my hopes up. Just wondering if anyone else went through the same thing and actually got pregnant.
if its heavy its highly unlikely that you are pregnant this month...heavy flow is not normal in a healthy pregnancy...sorry.
There is always next month....besides you cannot get pregnant that close to your expected period. You are only fertile 4 days out of the month and if you have a 28 day cycle the most fertile day is somewhere around the 14 th day counting from the first day from the start of your last period (if your cycles are regular) You could also chart BBT and cervical mucous if you want to pinpoint your ovulation more accurately to increase your chances....good luck - Count 14 days from last saturday and get to work
Alright so I had some interesting things happen.
It has been a week now since I had sex. My period stopped two days earlier than expected and now for about 3 days I have been so nauseated. And I have been very bloated. I know you said that it's highly unlikely, but now I'm not so sure. Do you think it would be two early to test?
Symptoms don't really mean much when it comes to determining pregnancy...a woman can have all pregnancy symptoms just by thinking she is pregnant...its actually a proven phenomenon.
the earliest a test will show is 9-10 day after intercourse...but its most accurate aprox 21 days after intercourse (most will show around days 14 or 15)
Even a blood test takes about 10-14 days. Since I worked in a hospital with all 3 of my pregnancies I would test often until I got the result I "knew" I needed.. Day 14 was always the magic number for me- day 13 it was always negative and 14 would be a faint positive. BUT everyone is different. Either way a week is just too early. Sorry
