Hello, folks. I am exposed to a lot of stress. I feel stressed at home, at work… I wonder whether I might experience some consequences, something like stroke. I have a stroke in my family history and I am afraid I might be the next. What can you tell me? Thanks for replying.

Hello. Stress can have a lot of repercussions on one’s health. I can’t understand people who don’t admit stress existence. Some studies show that mental stress causes the constriction of inner layer of blood vessels. The vessels lose their role to expend and to make a certain organ have more blood if necessary. Among these organs there is a brain. And if the oxygen brought by blood cannot satisfy brain’s needs, then a stroke appears. If you feel stressed, you should talk to psychiatrist or psychologist. I hope I’ve helped. Good luck!
