Hello, folks. I was on my routine check up at my doctor office and I was found bacteria in my urine. I would really like to know whether it is possible to have urinary infection without the symptoms. What are your experiences? I would like to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Yes, it is possible to have bacteria in urine without symptoms. It is known as bacteriuria. If there are a lot of bacteria, then you will have to take antibiotics to prevent this condition of getting worse. Did your doctor prescribe you some antibiotics? You should also consume a lot of fluid. This will make you urinate more frequently. In that way you will wash out bacteria. I hope this will help. Good luck!
