I am so worried about my son, I simply do not know how to help him. Can you help me with Lexapro withdrawals? He has been taking 20 mg for almost two years. Now he is having a real hard time getting of that drug. He is constantly sweating, he has fears and anxieties. Mood swings are often now, followed with manic actions and sometimes panic attacks.

It seems that your son is in a big struggle. I have been in a same situation and made a mistake. These drugs are not easy to get rid of, and it is not wise to stop instantly. Dosage must be reduced slowly, so that there is no place for the symptoms you described. Anyway, I went through the same hell, it took me two weeks to lose the symptoms (I also jut stopped taking it now I know I could deal with that more easily). He could talk to his therapist, it might help a lot.
