Can you prevent getting appendicitis?

Hello! I know that appendicitis is not naive at all and that is why I want to know how it can be prevented. My friend told me that appendicitis cannot be prevented at all, but I think that she is wrong. I mean, almost every disease can be prevented. Please tell me if I am right about this. Hello! Unfortunately, I have to tell you that your friend is right. As far as I know, there is no way for preventing appendicitis. But, I ca tell you that some researches found out that people whom eat fiber gets appendicitis very rarely. This is not prevention, but could be helpful to know, right?
