Im only 13 years old and there is a lump on the top of one of my testicles... its been there for a while but seem harmless. Its about the size of a pea but does that always mean it is cancer. Could it just be something else?

Hi threre,

I also have a lump on my testicles and I'm 15. It’s a kind of a white lump on my right testicle. I’ve searched on the Web to find out more about it and somewhere I read the word Cancer and it preoccupied me. I explained it to my parents and I showed them my testicles, but they consoled me telling me it’s just a spot which could be caused by swet. It's white & shaped like a pea size then it could be just a spot. However it's always good to check it out with your doc.
Take care!

Any lumps that are sort as pea sized should be checked out with a doctor. It could be any of several things, but if it has hard bits and gives you no pain you need to contact a doctor ASAP. If you had a lump that is hard and painless it is very likely to be cancer. But don't panic and don't give up hope because testicular cancer is the easiest cancer to cure and even easier to cure when caught early. However, talking about cancer in your age, it’s just ridiculous, but the man should be wakeful no matter how old.
If you feel a lump at the bottom of your "tube" it is likely to be a cyst. It's most probably not very serious but it's better to check with your doctor. I wish you good luck.
