| I am a 15 year old guy and i have been having these problems also. My foreskin only goes a little past me "head"... Is this normal? Also, as most guys might now, when retracting the foreskin, i feel a little pain... is this normal? |

First: To anyone considering cutting their frenulum DON'T. It will stretch in time as will your foreskin.
There seems to be a lot of young guys crusing these forums who are woried about things that they needn't be. It's ok not to be able to fully retract your foreskin at 13, 14, 15. In most cases masturbation will stretch it in time and it will naturually come free anyway. Try adding a little bit of lubricant (not soap!!) when you masturbate and take it easy. Gently pulling the foreskin back over the glans in the shower under warm water will help too.
Go read up on all the bits that make up your penis on wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frenulum_of_prepuce_of_penis
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penis
Personally it took until just over 18 before mine came free. It some cases you may have a condition called phimosis but look, most likely not -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis
Again, if you are really worried, just tell your parents you want to see a doctor or wait until you are sick next time and then ask. YES you will be nervous about mentioning it but - newsflash - doctors see and hear a lot worse conditions than anything involving your penis. Not an easy topic to bring up but try something like in sex ed at school they were talking about retracting the foreskin and your a bit woried because yours doesn't. |

| I am 15 and i had the exact same problem as the people above; not being able to fully retract the foreskin. I read on the internet that a way to overcome this is by stretching, so for 6 months once every day I would stretch my penis for about 5-10 mins (the stretch is just putting you hand on your penis and retracting the foreskin as far as you can go before pain). Gradually I could retract it more, however when i could get it about 2/3 of the way over my bell end i noticed that part of the foreskin is attached to the bell end. I went to see a doctor and he said this is common at my age and that it should detatch itself later on in life. So to all those people who are worried try to pluck up the courage to see the doctor (tell your parents its a private issue) and see what he says. Good Luck! |

They are most likely 'Pearly White Papules' and they are both harmless and common. They are not an STD and you can't infect/transfer them to other people. They may come and go, or they may stay there all the time. They are common on uncircumcised guys (like, around 40%)
There is some excellent info with photos [warning, they are pretty explicit] at wikipedia - wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearly_penile_papules
Don't freak out dude, they are pretty normal |

or they can be fordyce spots...how back is the foreskin supposed to go anyways? I mean I can pull my foreskin back over the head and I've gotten to the point where the skin just seems to stop and it looks like I can't go back any further. So how back is it supposed to go back? :S
I mean tbh I've never masturbated before (I know I'll feel weird doing that) so I never bothered. |
