Cataflam and Sirdalud

Is it possible that I need two medications for the same thing? I had spine injury last month and was at the hospital for some time. When I was leaving the hospital they (the doctors) gave me Cataflam and Sirdalud. For what do I need these medications? Couldnt they give me only one?

Oh madam, there are some conditions for which you must take many more medications. You were lucky because you received all medications that you need. Other doctors may have listen you and give you inadequate therapy. You got Cataflam for pain and inflammation in your injured spine. Sirdalud is prescribed for muscle relaxation, to help you survive healing period.
