Hello! I have joint pain and my doctor prescribed me Cataflam. I know that Cataflam is strong medicine and I am not sure should I take it. I want to know more, also, about Cataflam’s side effects. My friend told me that Cataflam is strong and dangerous medicine. Is she right? Please, tell me what to do. Thank you very much!

Hello! It is true that you should not take Cataflam for long time because of cardio risk. But, I am sure that your doctor did not prescribed you more then 1200 mg per day. This medicine can be dangerous in large amounts (over then 1800 mg per day and if you use it for long time). Regarding side effects I can tell you that you can feel some stomach problem (diarrhea, constipation or stomach irritation.
