Hi, I was diagnosed with cataract when I was 63 years old. At that time, I was not willing to perform any operation and regulate my sight. But, later I have accepted to do so, and I didn’t regret it. A cataract simply means a cloudy lens in your eye and disables proper seeing. Some patients develop cataract along with diabetes. Later I had cataract in the other eye, but this time it was less troubling, as I did surgery sooner. Certain drugs such as steroid tablets can cause cataract. But, also cataract can develop years after a trauma in the eye or after exposure to radiation.
