My neighbor was diagnosed with catatonic schizophrenia. What is that?

Hello,
Like with others types of schizophrenia, Catatonic Schizophrenia is known for history of shyness (before disease was diagnosed). This is a very interesting disease and no one really understands it. Catatonic Schizophrenia is mostly described as auditory and visual hallucinations, but what is most typical is, bizarre motor activity, for example prolonged maintenance of fixed posture. Another symptom is parrot like repetition of a words someone says and repetitive imitation of the movement of another person.
Like with other types of schizophrenia, schizophrenia is usually diagnosed at early age and is hereditary to some degree.
