I am talking about the 48 hour juice diet that you see on TV. I've been doing the Atkins diet for 3.5 weeks and have lost about 15 pounds but I need to lose an additional 3 pounds by this Friday (2 days away). Is this diet safe to use once? I am taking some meds like percocet, elavil, and lyrica for pain. I had a spinal fusion about 9 months ago...

The only diet I've been successful with is eating healthy carbs and exercising.
