I am 17 and have been taking Prozac for 2 and a 1/2 years now. Every couple of months I will get these incredibly horrible chest/throat pains about fifteen mintues after I take 30mg Prozac. It wakes me up from sleeping and feels like a knife is in me. I usually go to the bathroom and throw up. My neck gets real tense and it feels like someone is sqeezing my throat/chest. My mom said that I "swallowed it wrong" but i used to take pills dry and it never hurt like this. Please respond.[/b]
I suggest you should stop the drugs.Drug-allergy reactions can result in serious—even life-threatening—consequences. They are known to comprise about 25% of all adverse drug reactions. That's why they have to be considered carefully when you're prescribing drug therapy.
Vitamin C and Quercetin both are good natural anti-histamine agents and therefore important in the treatment of Allergies. Bioflavonoid Mix potentiates the functions of vitamin C. MSM and essential fatty acids contained in Flaxseed have the property to reduce inflammatory reactions and are therefore indicated in the treatment of allergies. Thymus is included in the treatment of Allergies as it has been shown to calm the immune response. Lactobacillus Acidophilus are thought to reduce the potential for allergies. Nettle has demonstrated to be effective against hay fever. Betaine HCl assists in the digestion of food and reduces the potential for food allergies.

I used to have the same trouble. It would happen when I took them on an empty stomach or with vitamins for some reason. Also, if I did not take enough water. When I threw them up, they were huge. I guess they really swell when you swallow them. I hope this helps
