Child's Eye Infection

My son is 7. He complains on itch on his eyes, he has runny nose and redness around eyes. Is it possible that he has some eye infection? I can’t control him all the time, so I don’t know if he irritated eyes with something or he is ill? What are the symptoms of conjunctivitis in child?

He may have eye infection from what you described. I had conjunctivitis. When I was child, several times, I know I have some discharge coming from my eyes and eyes very red and irritated. However, the symptoms of conjunctivitis may resemble other medical conditions or problems, so always consult your child's physician for a diagnosis.
