Hi, I have a daughter who is 15 years old. Her puberty has just started, and she is acting very irritating. It seams like she’s always trying to provoke me and make me angry. I don’t know what to do, children are so hard to handle sometimes. Can you give me some advice?

Most parents have this problems with their teenagers, and I am one of them. I am trying to treat my son fairly and with understanding, but he is so hard to handle sometimes! I always have to be careful what to say in his presence, not to hurt his feelings or to make him angry. Sometimes he seams like a grown person, but in the next moment he is childish again. I am a young mother, and it wasn’t so long ago when I was a teenager myself. I remember how big mistakes parents can make when they won’t let their children grow up, so I’m trying not to make the same mistake with my son. Even when he’s very difficult to handle, I’m giving him all my love and support. Parenthood is difficult, because you don’t know right away is a decision that you’re making right or wrong. Usually the time shows if we had success or if we failed in our good intentions.
