I hope that you could help me with my troublesome situation. I am a worried mother of two Children that don't listen to anything I say. The are boys, 14 and 12 years old and it sometimes seems to me that we live in two completely different worlds. They only listen to my husband and I just do not know how to change that. I do not won't to turn to my husband every time they ignore me.
You have to make some serious step forward in acting as a house ruler. I assume that if there are some punishments for them (like no tv, video games, things like that, nothing more serious, please), that your husband is the one exercise those things. Well perhaps you should change the roles. Take control in your own hands, act tough and sharp. Do not exaggerate of course, they are both entering their teen age, and you do know how complex that will be.
