Hi. I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer and I can`t stand the symptoms of it. I have heard chili peppers can give you a relief. Is that true?

Hi. Chili peppers are a natural pain relief. They contain a substance called capsaicin, which is really effective for treating sensory nerve fiber disorders, pain associated with arthritis, psoriasis, etc. Topical capsaicin is used for the treatment of osteoarthritis pain. Red chili peppers even help stop the spreading of prostate cancer. They also prevent stomach ulcers. Chili peppers kill bacteria and stimulate the cells to secrete protective buffering juices. However, capsaicin can irritate your eyes and hands. Pepper dust can irritate your throat and eyes. So, cool off with a glass of milk.
