OK i had been in a bad situation before and i got chlamydia from it and i went to the doctor in my home town and got treated not more than 2 years later i thought i had it again and i went to a different doctor and sure enough i still had it. Yet my boyfriend came out clean and i have had unprotected sex with him. Well its been 5 months now and i still believe that i have it. How can it keep coming back like this and why cant it be treated right and why wasnt it transferred to my boyfriend?
Maybe your boyfriend has good immune system or something. I had Chlamydia 2,5 years ago. I bought the meds and I used them regularly, however my boyfriend and I did have sex during my treatment although I was advised not to and he wasn’t treated, he didn’t even get tested and yet I managed to get rid of it. My last check was like six months ago and I am clear of Chlamydia.
Maybe if you didn’t take your treatment right, I mean, maybe you didn’t take all the capsules (or whatever you were using), or you two also had sex during the treatment. I honestly can’t think of anything but that.
