Hello,
My grandfather has high cholesterol… he is taking slowly walks everyday and is physically active as much as possible. He is taking this cholesterol lowering drug – fluvastatin. I don’ t think it is good for him. Is anybody familiar with this cholesterol lowering drug? Should he take it, since he is over 70 years old?

I am glad you asked this question. Your grandfather should immediately stop taking this cholesterol lowering drug!!! Since the presence of other coronary heart disease risk factors influences the use of cholesterol-lowering drugs- especially for elderly patients (for men, 45 or older).
Your grandfather should pay a visit to a doctor if still planning to take cholesterol lowering drugs!

We represent "Unauthorized Ad", an on-line company supplying customized vitamin supplements to the USA , we hope this information may be of interest to you.

Although it is by no means the only major risk factor, elevated serum (blood) cholesterol is clearly associated with a high risk of heart disease. Most doctors suggest cholesterol levels should stay under 200 mg/dl. As levels fall below 200, the risk of heart disease continues to decline. Many doctors consider cholesterol levels of no more than 180 to be optimal. A low cholesterol level, however, is not a guarantee of good heart health, as some people with low levels do suffer heart attacks.

The approach of optimum cardiovascular health is an added focus on the correction of good and bad cholesterol levels. Policosanol has been shown to reduce LDLs (bad cholesterol) and raise HDLs (good cholesterol). Red Yeast Rice, Guggul, Garlic, Pantothenic Acid, and Soy Isoflavones all help to lower total cholesterol and raise HDLs (good cholesterol). CoQ10, Ester C and Vitamin E are a group of powerful antioxidants that prevent dangerous oxidation of cholesterol and also lower LDLs (bad cholesterol).

Dr. Balch works with "Unauthorized Ad" to provide custom-made natural remedies for anyone who wants an all-in-one daily supplement that addresses all their health concerns, as well as providing the vitamins and minerals needed for optimum health and wellness.

If you are concerned or unsure about your symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider for professional medical advice

Hey there...

Yes, he certainly should stop taking that medication. I am constantly stunned by You should check out Bios Life.

Bios Life is the ONLY safe, natural, clinically-proven alternative to statin medications. It is as effective or even more effective than drugs like Lipitor, Zocor, Vytorin, Crestor and the like.

Michael
