Hi, I have 56 years and I have health issue. I have problem with my knee. It doesnt work as it use to. I feel pain, stiffness and swelling. I am diagnosed with osteoarthritis which is the type of arthritis. I have been prescribed with chondroitin supplement. Does it help and how?

Yes it helps. My father has the same type of arthritis. I know how difficult life can be especially if it is some large joint like knee. Chondroitin supplement can help in reducing pain, improves functional status, reduce swelling and stiffness It works even 3 moths after stopping the treatment. It works by blocking enzymes that break down cartilage. Also it helps cartilage stay healthy by absorbing fluid.
