ok.... so i grew up in a christian home. with good friends and all.. so i dont know what's wrong with me.  I ran across porn one time on accident and i ocationally look at it again. it seems like more recently i've looked for it more. i even fingered myself a few times. yesterday, i fingered myself a whole bunch and i think i had a teeny orgasm. i also did it today afterschool because it felt so good. i was breathing fast and i was twitching and making noisees but i couldnt stop myself. can someone help me get away from it? it feels so good and i think i like being horny but it's a sin. i dont want to go down. i also want to save myslef for my husband. | Theres nothing wrong with it, in my opinion, however I see the real problem is that your'e "super Christian." Well, where in The Bible does it say that masturbation is a sin? Where have you learned that it was? |

| A lot of people regardless of their religion do masturbate and most feel unhappy that they couldn't be with someone that loves you.... you will feel like your hiding something from people you know but its likely that they too have done it and feel the same way you do now. |

From a medical standpoint there is no harm done through masturbation.
From your religious standpoint:
"Timothy 2:22 ; Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."
You will have to force yourself not to engage in those types of pleasures. You can try to occupy your time doing other things and most importantly remove the influence to do masturbation. |

Hey, I know what you're going through. I'm 18 and I'm a hardcore christian, but I still struggle with sexual sins with my girlfriend, my best advice to you is try to stop before you go too far with a guy. It's a lot, and I mean a LOT harder to stop after you've started having sex with someone you love.
If you are a christian, then yes by your religious beliefs engaging in any kind of sexual act outside of marriage and without your spouse is a sin. First of all, don't get down on yourself, God loves you and will forgive you, I really recommend taking a look at this site http://www.pureloveclub.com/ it really helps when you're trying to figure out what's going on with yourself sexually, and there's advice from a lot of people there.
As for personal advice, I'm a male and I started masturbating and looking at porn when I was way too young (about 10 or 11) and didn't know what I was doing, all I knew was that it felt good. God created your sexuality as something sacred, something to be shared with the person God has planned for you to spend the rest of your life with. If you want to stop, praying whenever you feel sexually tempted is a really good way to calm yourself down, also try "bouncing your thoughts", so whenever you start thinking about sexual things, like masturbating or some hot guy you know, start thinking about other things like some christian music (if you don't know any good christian bands you should check out Newsboys if you like pop, Cross Movement if you like rap/r&b, or kutless if you like rock) or just how beautiful the world is and how amazing it is that God made all of this. Another thing is buy a ring or a necklace or just wear something, and if you ever find yourself sexually tempted, that item will remind you of how much God loves you and it will remind you to save yourself for that man that's waiting for you.
Finally, as far as waiting for the right guy goes, make sure at the beginning of a relationship you tell the guy that you are a christian and that you want to save yourself for the man you're going to marry. If the guy is worth it, then he will wait for you and respect that.
Sorry if you got bored reading that, I just didn't think you'd find many people who could give you christian advice here and I wanted to give you all I had, lol.

| Seriously, I've heard many things about masturbation being a sin, but still masturbation feels sooooo goood! it's also natural. We are only human, and you will not go to hell for pleasuring yourself. Because God, is a loving and merciful God. He will forgive you. |

| fair point but tht verse means that its even a sin to love and be loved, as that is wat it looks like to me, yer u may trust religion more then anything, but how can say tht masterbatings a sin wen its clear loving is too. |

| It really depends on you consider yourself a Chirstian. The Bible was put in place not just as a guide to go to heaven but to keep order and to keep people from destorying them selfs. Like how the Bible says not to waste your seed or to not think of Lustful things, not to cheat ect. If you think about it if you stay truely "Chirstian" then you can never have sex unless its for procreation. Youll never beable to preform any sexual act besides sexual intercourse with no protection because that would be wasting a seed. If you just think of the Bible as guide lines to live your life instead of hardcore rules then it will be better. If you believe this then masterbating is ok just as long as its not a thing that distracts or hinders you from finding a spouse. |
