Chronic Fatigue or fibromyalgia?

Hi, I have been feeling exhausted all the time. Even when I sleep enough I feel tired, and every day I think to myself how will I manage to do all I have to achieve. Is it chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia?

Hi, it sounds like a chronic fatigue syndrome. Since you are feeling debilitating fatigue, tiredness all the time it really sounds like you have chronic fatigue syndrome. Other symptoms seen in CF are: impaired memory or concentration, sore throat, muscle pains, joint pains, new headaches. Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) is associated with pain in multiple tender points, sleep disturbances like insomnia and non-refreshing sleep. Also, fatigue is characteristic. Hypothalamic dysfunction aggravates the condition. Immune disorders additionally make the FMS more severe. Inadequate nutrition can cause or perpetuate this syndrome.

Here is an article with advices about fibromyalgia. I think many of the advices are also useful against chronic fatigue syndrome.

I have myself had fibromyalgia-like problems since I was a teen. Gradually I have tried a lot of lifestyle methods until I found a combination that help a lot. I wrote this article based on my own experiences.
