I am a 44 yr. old woman with severe pain in my abdomen. I have tried everything and have seen MANY Doctors to no avail. My AST & ALT levels are high (not sure of #'s) but my pancreatic enzymes are normal. My Hb is 11.3. I am losing sleep because of the pain and have not been to work in 3 weeks due to the pain and fatigue. Can somebody please help me? I am desperate!! Crying or Very sad

Well by now, I surely hope you have been properly evaluated by a physician. If not, and your report is accurate, your A1c being 11.3 is extremely high indicating possible diabetes. Additionally, with the elevated AST and ALT one would suspect liver damage./inflammation. If you are taking a statin medication for high cholesterol this would be something to evaluate. Good luck.
