My healthcare provider recommends taking coenzyme Q10 to replace coenzyme Q10 depleted because of statin. He claims that coenzyme Q10 counter statin side effects. Any comments on this???

CoQ10is such a powerful supplement! It does so many things in the body from generating energy to acting as a powerful antioxidant. Your healthcare provider has right Statin drugs like Lipitor etc. have been proven to dramatically lower levels of CoQ10. I personally believe everyone on a statin drug has to take CoQ10. I am sure that coenzyme Q10 also counters statin side effects.
