Hi, my sister is trying to stay pregnant for almost a year. She is 29 years old and she visited her gynecologist last week who suggested her to make cold cone biopsy. I was very surprised when I heard that doctor wanted to such examination so I would like to know something more about it and why is it important in this moment.

Hi, my friend also had cold cone biopsy before she decided to stay pregnant. This method also means taking of tissue sample from uterus but sample which is take is larger tan in the other methods. Doctors decide to make this kind of biopsy when results of Pap smear are not clear and they want to be sure if there are precancerous cells.
