Combining saw palmetto and other herbs?

I am 47 years old and it looks like I will have to take extra care of my prostate from now on. It looks like it is somewhat enlarged now and I have to take some therapy for it. I have been told that saw palmetto should be helpful in my case and I intend to use it. Will combining saw palmetto and other herbs be more effective or should I just go with palmetto?

I think that for the start you should stick to palmetto only. It is known that this herb from southern Europe is very effective when dealing with prostate and conditions related to it, enlarged prostate and benign prostatic hyperplasia. And they say that palmetto only should be enough for mild cases, so there is no need for some other herbs. Still, you might try adding some other herbs if palmetto alone is not helping.
