A few years ago, I was told by a Doctor that I had Mastitis in my left breast, I was not pregnant and never had children. Doctor gave me antibiotics and after a while I noticed it gradualy leaving.

Is this possible or did I have some other type of infection that the Doctor was not aware of? I currently do a self breast exam.
