Hi.I'm 18year old student and few days ago i felt sharp pain in my left testical. The pain continues through the inside and reaches the lower part of my back(the lumbo-sacral part of it),or my kidney some times.I havent doing some hard work lately,or lifting heavy objects...Could be something danger;like cancer or smt? ***edited by moderator*** ***emails not allowed***

Well, you should have it checked. Such pains are usually related to bacterial infections or kidney stones. Actually, a person who has kidney stones experiences symptoms in lower back first which then radiate to groins and testicles. I somehow think that you may be too young for developing kidney stones as the age range is usually 20-40.

Bacteria are likely to move from lower urinary tract to the upper up to the kidneys and that is not good. I am not certain it would cause the raising pain like you have been experiencing but if bacteria do travel up the kidneys, it could make quite a mess and checking this is very important. You wouldn’t want to have problems with kidneys-believe me since they are crucial for our health.

This may not be sexually transmitted bacteria but a “regular” one from your gastrointestinal tract. However, the most common symptoms of urinary tract infections are burning while peeing, frequent need to urinate, dribbling while peeing, etc

An infection of testicular tube can also cause severe pains but you won’t find out anything until you have some tests done. They (the tests) don’t hurt!
