I was diagnosed as having pneumonia about a week and a half ago. My doctor put me on some antibiotics. I went back for a check up and he said my lungs still werew not fully inflating and ordered more antibiotics. I have not had a cough at all, but can feel what I think is mucus in my lungs that needs to come up. I have been at work and am now feeling very drained and short of breath again. How do I get this mucus out if I don't have a cough? And if I don't get it out will I continue to have these shortness of breath episodes. Please help.
