Hey,
I've used the washroom a couple times since and there's no more blood!!! It was just that little spot before!! I can't see me starting my period this early, I only came off on the 20th, not due until the 11th al least... I have been having crampy pain in my lower left abdomen all week... Would implantation bleeding occur this early?? It would only be 7 days since having intercourse??
Got my fingers crossed too...
thanks for you reply girlies...

if i remember correctly implantation bleeding can occur anywhere from day 6-12 post conception So you are there This is a really good sign - its not a whole lot but the jogging probably helped it out and thats why it was so red...
I think I am get just as nervously excited about this as I did when I noticed mine Have you had babies before? Have you noticed anything different? If in the next few days you start to feel "weird" and different thats a good thing....I would always get really hot and a little crampy and just "feel it" at least a week or so before a test would...we know our bodies best and If think this is it it probably is Discharge increases and you have a lot of the same symptoms you do with PMS but they are just different some how...and food tasted SO much better (all these things started happening gradually but most a week or two before i was even due for cycle) oh, and in a shower my boobs were super sensitive |

you ladies must be very in tune with your bodies. both times i was pregnant, i just thought i was getting my period. it seemed so much like pms. i didn't really get any symptoms until after i knew i was pregnant. but i took a pregnancy test within the first two days of missing my period. my periods were very regular, so i pretty much knew i was pregnant when i missed one. and unfortuatly, we can't know for sure if you are pregnant until that happens. i remeber the wait, and i know how nerve wrecking it is! but it does look good right now. and i'm hoping for you.
also, buttons.... i've heard that concieving earlier in your cycle rather than later would be a better chance at a girl. is that true? i'm pretty sure i concieved about day 12 of my cycle, and i'm having a boy! also, i was about 18 1/2 weeks along when they did the exam, and she said he was about 6 inches long and weighed 9 oz. is that normal? |

Sounds good to me- Congrats on your little man! Boys are GREAT! According to studies, yes, usually earlier in your cycle conception usually ends up a girl because the things they DO know about sperm are as follows:
Male sperm are faster but don't live as long PLUS usually if you orgasm after he ejaculates the acidity in your vagina favor the male sperm (this last part can be speculation it DOES favor getting pregnant though)
Female sperm are slower BUT live longer so if you have sex prior to ovulation your chances are higher to have a girl.
If the man has caffinee within an hour prior to intercourse it is supposed to also increase the chances of having a boy because it makes the sperm even faster
In the grand scheme of things there is really no way to know FOR SURE exactly when your egg is released (when can speculate but the exact hour is impossiable to know) so really its just fun to know these sort of things if you want to "try" for a particular one....BUT God is going to give you what he give you and you should be happy with either or (sorry for those of you who don't believe in God, please don't take offense)
Yes, I am VERY intune with my body and I know not everyone is like me and achampange is right, there really is no way to know for sure until you miss your period...but its still kinda fun trying to figure it out at least for me- helps the time go by...but just don't get your hopes up too much because no one wants to be disappointed if your period shows...
All i am saying is IF you have these things those can add more points to good...and if you ARE in "tune" with your body I truly believe you will know...of course I even "knew" I was having a boy both times dispite the fact the pregnancies were so different...and I even knew the day I was going to go in labor early in my pregnancy (which was even 2 weeks early than my suspected due date) and logically this is impossiable- Maybe I am psycic lol |

Cramping is normal in the begining so i wouldnt be worried if i were u - i understand your fears but if u let yourself worry bout every little thing u would go crazy!
When the embryo attaches itself to the wall of your uterus it can cause a little bleeding (ranging from a drop to a teaspoon- sometimes even more- or none (at least not noticed) Its because the inside of the uterus is not only filled with vessels but they get even more engorged at conception--
does that make sense?
if not you can google it maybe someone else explains it better im really hoping for u- i have a good feeling though
are u in the states? just curious - what about u achampange? |

buttons is right about worrying. i have been driving myself crazy my whole pregnancy wondering if something is going to go wrong. i didn't the first time i was pregnant, but since i miscarried, every little thing scares me.
you will just have to wait and see what happens. two more weeks? it's not too long. longer than you'd like, i know. |

I got pregnant with my daughter on Cycle Day 12 - I was on my 3rd cycle off the pill. First cycle was 5 days late, 2nd cycle was 7 days late, and well, my 3rd cycle was 9 months late
Good luck! |
