Okay, 2 weeks ago and 1 day, I got prescribed on Orthotrycyclen LO. My doctor told me to start taking the pill that same day. It was on a tuesday..She told me not to take the first 2 white Sunday and Monday pills.. And to wait 7 days before I have unprotected sex....I did that...And had unprotected sex for the first time with my boyfriend 1 week and 4 days after starting the Pill...I called my doctor as well the day that we were planning on having sex without a condom and Asked if it was still okay to have sex without a condom even though I didnt take the 2 sunday and monday white pills and she said yes you are protected after 7 days..Then..I went on the ortho tricyclen lo Sight..and It said you CANT start it on a random day..You HAVE to start it on A sunday or the day your period begins...Now im worried that I could be pregnant...Can you help me with this??? Give me any possible imformation thats different than the others..Please???
And Another question..Obvoiusly I had unprotected sex last weekend for the first time....I noticed that the Seman was leaking out of me?? Is that normal?? |

YES, you can start the PILL ON ANY DAY, but sunday is usually easier for most women to remember.. This is why SUNDAY is always mentioned.
You are protected as long as you take your pill for at least 7 days before you have sex.
It is normal to have semen leakage after sex. |

OMG, YOU ARE MY HERO. thank you so much for posting this, i had the SAME FRICKEN problem. I started it i guess on a mixture of sunday start and day 1, and i called the OTC lo number and they said they havent studied the random day method. So thank you for posing this , and thank you for someone respond, i thought i had to go get the morning after pill!!!
So i am protected after 7 days? Ive been on it for 3 weeks now, so i am protcted? Or should i go get the Morning after pill, planned parent hood said yes, they recoommend that, then again they ma just want me money...ha
