Confused of Multiple symptoms

For about 6 months or so i have been having IBS symptoms went to my Dr. at least 3 times for this she did a rectal exam and said things appear normal and some prescriptions for spastic colon. The last time i went to the Dr. she told me basically to live with the symptoms or she will have to send me to a specialist for a scope( i think to shut me up basically) Well i didnt like that at all and for 3 months i have been feeling fine except this last week of very loose stool, anal and abdominal pain, urge to have bowel movements, lower back pain, there has been no sign of blood so i feel ok about that but this discomfort is driving me crazy I am afraid to talk to her again for she will send me to the specialist. I am confused on if is really necessary. What would you do?

Oh i forgot too because of all the loose stool off and on for the past 6 months i also have a Hemmorhoid, Dr says it isnt bad enough to do any surgery on. Do you think some of my symptoms are from this too like my back pain?

I would make an appointment with a gastroenterologist
