I have been having a problem with my pituitary gland for some time and early this year we discovered that I have a pituitary tumor, I had lost the ability to have regular cycles most of my adult female life, and was used to it however I was on a medication called parlodel that helped with the pituitary tumor (so it would not secrete), I have been married for 10 years and in that time have not used contraceptive, we wanted children but where unable to because of my medical problem which was undiscovered until this year I was wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant on this drug quickly, I had a couple of consistent regular periods for the first couple of months on the drug, and now for the past three I have not had any sign of a period, I am not due to see my doctor till next week but I have, sore breast, thickened discharge, active bladder, no nausea though, and a fullness in my pelvic area that is new and unexplained? if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. thanks.  |

Hi there.
I am not on the drug, however, those do sound like early pregnancy symptoms. Not to alarm you, but it can also be in your head because you are hoping so badly. I know it sucks, royally. Just keep trying at it and you will get your wish! I really do wish you the best of luck in your ttc (trying to conceive) journey. |

| I posted this question earlier and yes I am in fact pregnant!!!! WOW, very unexpected I have been going thru treatment for about 3 months between medication and radiation. I went to the doctors after one of my treatment sessions and asked if there are usually signs of heavy urinationa and abdominal bloating during treatment he did a test and yes IM EXPECTING>>>>>> Parlodel did it. and I cant believe it..... |
