I've been talking to this girl for weeks and we recently went to my junior prom together. I've made it pretty clear that i like her and i haven't let her spend a dime on anything wile I'm with her. You know, the usual song and dance. But even though we both have confessed our interests for each other, she's declined my over of going out as a couple with the reply "I'm not ready for a relationship", and even dodged giving me her number at least three times.
We have many similar interests and can talk very freely with one another. In my own opinion we're very compatible and get along great. I'm 6"4', mildly handsome and I'm in great shape. I can make just about anyone laugh, and I'm not aggressive at all, in fact, I'm nice and cheerful even to people that get on my nerves.
Can anybody tell me a possible reason that she would want to refuse me like this? and if she just plain doesn't like me, why agree to go to prom?
I'm confused, please help.

Alright here is the problem with women:
They say they don't want you to play games...but this is a lie. Its just human behavior.

You were too forthcoming with "i like u details." This makes you a sure thing. this makes you less attractive to her. Think about it: do you go after the girl you know you can have? or do u try for the one that posses a challenge?

I know you want a relationship..but your young...explore your options. This one is a gonner. Next time, don't tell a girl you like her. Ask her out, tell her she's hot, but don't sound desperate.
