Hello, my little kid has sustained an arm fracture yesterday and he has been taken immediately to the doctor. He said that they will apply a Conservative method for treating a fracture but they only used a plaster. Was that the conservative method? Anyway, whatever it is, how long will it take before my kid’s arm heal completely? What should we do to help him?

Convince him to be still as much as possible. And that could be a problem for kids, believe me. This kind of injury takes a lot of time for a proper rehabilitation and therefore he has to be calm most of the time. That is the only way to avoid some complications that might occur. Well, that is why the plaster is applied; it will prevent the arm from moving completely.
