|
|
| I have been suffering now since august. Basically it started off I became nauseas, I couldnt eat or drink. I was just constantly sick, even after id been sick, i still felt like i need to be sick some more. After a trip to the hospital i was told it could be a stomach invection when my stomach was inflammed. " weeks passed and i was still no better, in fact i couldnt go anywhere without a bag, to be sick into. I went into hospital where i was given blood test, urne tests xrays and an ultrasound scan, however these showed nothing. I gradually started to feel a little better, well i wasnt as sick as often. Tho the feeling has not subsided. Its still there 3 months on, constant feeling of nausea. Maybe its in my mind and i struggle to let go of the inital feeling i had but its so difficult, im struggling to leave the house. I seem to feel worse when i see friends or try to go out anywhere. I get all flustered and all i can feel is sick its horrible. Has anyone else suffered with this or does anyone know whether its my mind or there is actually something not right with me? Id love to know. Unfortubalty this is stoppin g me living my life and im only 22 |

| I had the same symptoms, I am 21 years old and had constant nausea for about a year. I saw multiple specialists and had endoscopies, etc. I had to play around with medications and see which ones worked for me. My family has a history of acid reflux and anxiety problems so the doctor started me on Lexapro, an anti-anxiety at night and Lexapro in the morning....my vomitting went away but my stomach still felt unsettled. Then, I got on birth control for horrible cramps and ever since I started it I feel like myself again. Before, I could never go out with my friends or to public places without feeling anxious about being sick but now I can do whatever I want and I finally feel like my old self. You just need to think about your family history, etc and you'll find something that works for you I promise I've been there. Good luck!! |

The same thing happened to me ..only I was sick for 7 to 8 years and doctors never found the problem. They all said that my gall bladder was fine. I continued to be sick. Finally I went to a Gastroentologist, who ordered a nuclear scan to see if my gall bladder was even functioning. He found out that a normal functioning gall bladder measures greater than 30 and mine measured at 7! Needless to say I am having surgery soon and I can't wait for this hell to be over.
Good luck! |

I feel the same way you guy do.I have been sick for almost a year. I feel nausous all the time. I have lower abdominal pain, and a loss of appatite.
I have been tested for acid reflux, gastritis, gastroparesis, ulcers, gallbladder disease, and i was also told i had a stomach infections, in which i was put on antibiotics.
Needless to say, the problem is still there, and im not getting any healthier. |

| I have had stomach problems for about a year and a half now. I don't even know how to describe it other than burning. If you took hunger pangs and multiplied them by about twenty, added a burning feeling, and nausea.....that would be it. I have been to the doctor and had blood tests, urine tests, breath test, and an ultrasound, and they couldn't find the problem. So....I am left to just deal with it. Anyone have a similar problem? I am 35 and ready to rip out my own stomach....arrghhh. |

| i have been having similiar problems for a year now.Mine started out as nausea and shortness of breath,so i went to the doctor,he told me it was acid reflux causing my shortness of breath and that if i kept feeling nausea to come back and he would check my gall bladder.Well after just a few weeks on aciphex for the reflux my breathing went back to normal but i still felt sick alot.I had the upper gi done, doc said there was no acid buildup or infections but i had gastritis..since then i have stayed on the aciphex and while my breathing still isnt normal it is 100 times better than it was..but a few weeks ago i had my gall bladder checked and they said it wasnt functionong properly, didnt have any gall stones but they recommended removing it.Today is 12 days after my surgery and i feel terrible.Feel worse now than i did before the surgery.I am staying sick,,lost my appetite and feel so tired all the time.Im hoping this all will pass because im ready to get back to normal.I work in construction and it is killing me not being able to go back to work.I am only 25 years old married with a 3 year old daughter and i got bills |
