HI. I have an 18 month-old daughter with constant diarrhea. It varies from mild to severe. I’ve found many herbs treatments for this but I’m still seeking for even more treatments. Can anyone recommend any? I guess I’ll have to use extract drops and even hide the herb in her food. I also assume I’ll have to put her on diet of some kind but I still don’t know on what… Please, give me any advice you have. Thank you.

I know that my mom used to peel and grate an apple for the same thing. It helped me just fine as well as other children. This is the way she did it - first let the grated apple sit in a dish until it turns brown. It usually takes no more than 15 minutes. As it doesn’t look so “good” like that, one good trick is to serve it like applesauce. This is very convenient with babies because they should atke it in “that form” anyway. I have to stress one thing though – it is very important for you to remember that the grated apple must be brown or it will not work for diarrhea. Also, be sure not to add any sugars to it - they tend to cause diarrhea. Hope this helps.
