Why do I experience salty taste in my mouth all the time?

Hello Salty...have you found any answers yet? I started having the same thing about a month ago...very weird...I taste salt even with nothing in my mouth. Have you had any CAT Scans lately?....where they gave you a barium drink? Do you take Maalox?...Gas-X?...or have you started using coffee syrup flavors?...I think I've narrowed it down to those? If it is not these, then I'm thinking its something external...like they are adding some new chemical to the water supply, etc. How long have you had it?
