Sorry, no updates. I think the next place to look into would be someone who's a specialist in nerves. I don't know the names for these kinds of doctors, but they may have the answer for us.

This problem we have... It's really annoying and I find it difficult to concentrate during lectures. Stay posted - I'll look at this thread about every month or so...

Salvamea or anyone else,

did you come to a resolution with this problem? I've been having a similar problem for too long despite all the usual tests. I have a feeling of awareness of my penis head/combined with an urge to urinate from the penis head itself (not the bladder) despite there being very little urine present. I'm thinking it may be some sort of nerve issue (I was circumcised in my late teen years due to my foreskin not retracting during erection).

I've had the same problem now for 6 months. Comes and goes but is becoming more frequent. Can't rule out HPV because my spouse (of 20 years) has cold sores so I did test positive for HPV (no surprise) but no visible signs of herpes so I can't even get tested for it.

Mine is often associated with a tingling in the groin as well (down inside the leg)... anyone have this feeling. Sometimes feels like a shock all the way down my left leg.

Seems to get worse during intercourse.

Did you have any luck getting rid of these problems, ive had the same symptoms for bout 18months and doctors dunno what it is. any answers please email me at ***** please
regards,
jarrad

Wow guys, I'm 18, and I've had this constant tingling for like 5 years now, I can't even remember for how long. Ever since I was young. The doctors don't know what it could be. I guess I've just accepted that I'll have to live with it. I am almost certain it has to do with nerves because I tested negative for everyone, have never had sex, and it's been here for so long...does ANYONE know if there are any pills or something to numb that certain part of the penis??? Wow, this is lame.

Glad to finally find a website where this topic is addressed. I, too, have the tickly/stinging/intchy sensations. Usually after I cum or after I pee, but not always. The itching is usually alleviated by rubbing under the head of my penis.

I've been tested for STDs (such as chlamydia and gonnorrhea) and they all were negative. I do have HPV, but have had no warts on my penis. My thought was that it could possibly be wart tissue inside the urethra and i just can't see it. If I remember correctly my partner had a wart in the opening of the urethra, and before it appeared he felt an itchy sensation inside his penis. And I have had warts in the anal area. And usually before they appear the area itches a lot.

So my best guess is that it is wart tissue inside the urethra. (1 in 4 adults have HPV).

I'm still looking online, so hopefully someone will find an answer.

One night I masturbated pretty hard and then right after that I had a constant tingling/slightly burning sensation in the tip of my penis, around the head area. this has been going on for almost 2 weeks. after I pee, the tingling/burning comes back a little stronger, then dies back down. It has been getting better but I was just wondering what people think this is. No sores or anything. This never happened to me before and I'm a little worried, maybe nerves or something? Thanks guys, help me out

I can't masturbate or anything because of the super sensitivity...
