Constant tingling in penis

For about a year now I've had this incredibly annoying sensation inside my penis around the top area going down to maybe just below the glans. It's almost as if I feel that I need to pee even though my bladder feels completely empty. It never goes away. I've had my self checked. First time a doctor said that there was a "little bit of an infection", then he gave me antibiotics. I came back after the symptoms hadn't gone away. Sometimes it stings very slightly when i urinate but not painyfully. The doctor said the infection was gone in the urine test. I then went to a urethral doctor and they performd a cystoscopy but didn't find anything wrong. after that I went to std clinic where they did tests for the typical stds but didn't find anything and they didnt have a clue of what it could be. I really cant relax with it, but it's definitely not pscyhological. i have also noticed since i got this sensation i cant last anywhere near aas long during sex or masturbation, so badly that I dont even bother, but I wouldnt care if i could just get rid of this sensation/irritation/ TINGLING.
Oh and one thing is that the std clinic they said it could be nonspecific urethritis if the std tests came back negative whcih they did. so they gave me zithromax 1g(1 day) and cipro for 5 days, it did not eliminate this feeling. So they concluded that it wasnt nonspecific urethritis because NSU wouldve disappeared with the zithromax.

I've searched the internet and I can't find anything relevant, and was hoping that maybe you guys know something. I'm 21 years old.

if anyone could help me find a solution or what I have and remove this feeling I would be so incredibly thankful, id even pay a damn reward (thats how sick and tired I am of this).

I have the same sympton also.. I get a tingling in the penis for no reason at all. Mines started a couple days after having unprotected sex with a friend of mine. I went to the doctors and they did not find any stds or any type of infections.. It is really getting on my nerves and I dont know what it is

My girlfriend had been diagnosed with HPV. A few weeks later I developed genital warts, a common symptom of the virus. I also started getting this tingling, sensation in my urethra. I just got back from the docs and was confirmed I too had HPV. They also took a urine sample when I mentioned the sensation. From all the reading I've done, I'm guessing I may have small wart inside that's causing this little sensation which comes and goes. The doctor wanted to test me for clamydia but I'm pretty sure its what I think it is.

I sometimes get a burning painful sensation in my penis that feels internal around the head only as well, but it is only after masturbation and I've found that if I don't try to orgasm quickly and let myself get turned on more that it doesn't happen, it usually only happens when the head of my penis is soft, when I play with it more and the head gets harder too then when I masterbate I don't get this feeling, sometimes also if I masterbate a few minutes later it will go away or lessen. I've never really thought too much about what caused it and figured it was just something that happens when a guy orgasms w/o being aroused enough. It hasn't happened in a long time.

Has anyone found the cause of constant tingle in tip of penis? This has been going on now for about a year and doctors don't seem to have a clue.I have had cystscopy nothing wrong here.Iwas put on clydimicyn for possable infection nothing has worked still have this anoying tingle in tip of penis that keeps me awake at knight woring about waht it is.Any information would be a great help.

Wowww, I have the same problem as you! You're not alone - I'm 20, been feeling a chronic tingling sensation since as long as I can remember (early childhood? Yeah man, I've lived with this hell for sooo long I've kinda gotten used to it). Mine can't be an STD or anything because I haven't had sex.

It's an undescribable feeling, no? Feels like a mix of peeing, tickling and discomfort?

I've googled for hours trying to figure out what it is, but no luck. Docs don't know, I don't know. I just know this can't be normal.

I am having the same tingling feeling as the others. It started a few weeks ago immediately after intercourse with my wife. I've been to my primary care physician and a urologist. Both of them say everything looks normal. It sure doesn't feel normal. I believe it is related to blood flow somehow. But, my uroogist says there are no "plaques" in my penis, so bloodflow should be fine. I do notice a very hard vein/artery after a prolonged erection. Doctors also do not know what the cause of that is. Sad

I've had the same problem now for 6 months. Comes and goes but is becoming more frequent. Can't rule out HPV because my spouse (of 20 years) has cold sores so I did test positive for HPV (no surprise) but no visible signs of herpes so I can't even get tested for it.

Mine is often associated with a tingling in the groin as well (down inside the leg)... anyone have this feeling. Sometimes feels like a shock all the way down my left leg.

Seems to get worse during intercourse.

My feeling is more in my bladder, i think. It's not im penis, it's inside above it! What is this thing? There is nothing about this.

Mine happened after I drank a bottle of wine in like 30 minutes and also the most water ever that same day prior to the wine. I woke up and there it was. It felt good at first, then I wene t again and started to wonder. It's still here and I have no freekin idea! I am going for some tests tonight - will let you know!
