I got contacts around September last year. My eyes swelled up every now and then after me wearing them for a little too long; My doctor said I was allergic to silicone, so I switched to a different kind and didn't have any problems with them after that.
Except, they slide around my eye sometimes. Not much, just enough to make my eyesight blurry. They're disposable, so I don't sleep in them, but I'm worried that if I do they'll slide too much and get stuck behind my eye.
Don't worry thats just an old wives tale. There are muscles surrounding the eye as well as fatty tissue - there is no way anything can get round. As for your problem, just raise the issue with your Optom at your next aftercare visit and ask him to check the fit to ensure the lens isn't too flat for your eye (done with a fluorescein dye and a slit lamp)
My ex's father had his contact go behind his eye when he had a nasty habit of sleeping with them in. That's just what I'm scared of. :d
