| I have had issues with bladder infections from the age of three. I have has surgery on my bladder at age 15(diverticulectomy) , and I am now 25. I think I have been on all types of Antibiotics, such as Microbid, Levaquin, Bactrum, Septra and Sipro. Every time I go to the doctor they prescribe me a new drug due to the resistance factor of the bacteria. I am so tired of taking these and then having the side effects such as yeast infections, constipation, and things to this nature. I drink cranberry juice, and eat lots of yogurt, but nothing helps. They have me on a prophalitic Microbid, and cathatering 6 times a day. Does anyone also deal with these issues, or does anyone know what else I can try? |

I had Continuous Bladder Infections and was allergic
to all the medications. My Urologist recommended "Prelief" OTC. I take one or two whenever I eat acidic foods such as tomotoes, lemon, vinegar, etc. It really works. I buy it in the pharmacy or Wal*Mart etc. little hard to find. Wal*Mart orders it for me. It's about $11.00 large bottle of 120 tablets in Southern New Jersey area. Be careful not to use too many at a time, might cause little diarrhea. I tried EVERYTHING else before finding this. It changed my life. |
